Louisiana Tartar Sauce
This is great on PoBoys, with catfish, and on fish tacos. Be sure to double or triple the recipe if you’re feeding more than 2 or 3.
- 1/2 c mayonnaise
- 1 T sweet pickle relish (dill relish works too)
- 1 tsp mustard (Creole preferred but not obligatory)
- 1 T minced onion
- 1 T capers, chopped
- 1 T lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp Tony’s Chachere’s Creole Seasoning (always have it on hand!)
- a dash of Tabasco hot sauce (optional)
Mix all ingredients well.
