Nuoc Cham - Vietnamese Dipping Sauce
If you want this as a salad dressing, simply omit the water and add a little oil if you wish.
- 3 T lime juice
- 2 T sugar
- 1/2 c water
- 2 1/2 T fish sauce
- 1 minced garlic (optional)
- 1 Thai chile (optional and to taste), thinly sliced
In a small bowl, combine all the ingredients and stir until the sugar is dissolved.
