New York, New York! It’s a helluva town.

Those lines were written by Leonard Bernstein for the 1944 musical On the Town. “Helluva” was replaced with “wonderful” for the 1949 film.

It’s still a helluva town. Here’s some photos from our May 2025 trip.

Our favorite tour: it was a rough ride but we got to her.
One of our favorite brunch spots: Pig and Khao on CLINTON St.
Our most-humorous walk – the day before the 25,000+ runners began The RBC Brooklyn Half Marathon down Eastern Parkway in Crown Heights

Our favorite NYC photo. The building in front is part of Hudson Yards.

The Emily Dickinson place-setting from our favorite “dinner” site – Judy Chicago’s exhibit, “The Dinner Party,” at the Brooklyn Museum
A favorite painting: “Hope is theThing with Feathers” by Amy Sherald at the Whitney Museum (title from Emily Dickinson)
Our most favorite NYC bag – from the restaurant Ayat.
“We are all human and we love you whatever your belief…Jewish, Muslim, Christian.”
